AWAKENINGS' DREAM

Awakenings was born with this dream:

Imagine a world where love is the guiding force, where the unique gifts that each individual brings receive honor and respect, where all are nurtured in allowing their gifts to blossom, to manifest the joy of living in each moment...

Imagine a world where all of nature is also honored, so all may live in harmony and share an increasingly vibrant and beautiful environment...

What we imagine we can create, starting in this moment. This vibrant world will come into being as each of us empowers ourselves to live the dream now and share it with others. Playing a part in the creation of this dream is the mission of Awakenings.

In this dream, there is no poverty, because everyone is nurtured and loved. This love also eliminates the focus on fear and separation as we bridge the divisions created by race, creed, and national borders to co-exist in harmony. The environment synchronously benefits everyone, as people all over the world shift their focus to a more holistic approach that creates balance rather than congesting our planet with chemicals and toxic fumes.

Increasing our connections with our wholeness, which we may experience as God, the creator, the source, or the oneness, brings us closer to making this dream a reality. We have an inherent connection with divine order. As we progress spiritually, we unite more with our inner wisdom, which, in turn, strengthens our connection with all-that-is. This evolutionary quest is an upward spiral, taking us to higher levels of consciousness and wholeness.

AWAKENINGS' MISSION

RISING TO A 
NEW WAY OF BEING

At the end of March, Awakenings held its second annual Spiritual Renewal Retreat for the ministers and key members. It was such an amazing time for all those who attended that we want to share some of our experiences with you.

Seeking Collaborators

At its most fundamental level, we view Awakenings as an energetic structure that can support anyone who connects with it in reducing limitation and opening to the divine realms of infinite possibilities. At the retreat, we explored the foundational feelings this structure is built upon, which include love, joy, excitement, being in the flow, magic, a sense of wow, awe, peace, and more. Together, these feelings align us with a higher level of reality where Awakenings dream can come true, where love is the guiding force and all may exist in harmony and joy.

At Awakenings' retreat, the attendees collectively recognized our primary purpose as being these words. This involves living in alignment with the higher vibrations we hope for humanity to embrace and inviting others to joins us in bringing this new reality fully into form.

Together, we did a visualization of our future and when Jane looked out, fully expecting to a scene with people, places and activities, at first she saw nothing. It was such a surprise to her not to see anything that she immediately imagined herself putting up a sign that read “Seeking Collaborators.” Others immediately started to appear. At first, there were a few people, then more and more, until there were perhaps hundreds or thousands of people and we all interacted, singing and dancing joyfully together. From this image, Jane drew the realization that rising to the new way of being is what we are here for, to embody and emanate these frequencies to the world. In this vision, the products of our activities will emerge from our beingness. As another attendee reminded us, “We are, after all, human beings, not human doings.” The key to creating the reality we collectively envision is in our ways of being together more than what we may be doing together.

Others synchronously had similar experiences of being in states of wow and awe at the amazing future we are creating together. This shared process showed us that what we are being is the essence of our experience here on earth. In right order, Awakenings focus is on creating a worldwide spiritual community with a way of being that embraces elevated vibrations like love, joy, excitement, and more. The things we do individually and collectively spring synchronously out of this joyous way of being.

The Beingness Blueprint 

Awakenings first newsletter, “A Call to Action,” started with this wonderful statement from Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” As we stated in that newsletter, we feel strongly that the time to take action is now. We also realize that those of us who hold a vision of creating a new world and a higher way of being for humanity could extend this statement to say “Be the love,… the joy, … the excitement, … the peace, … and the … you wish to see in the world.” As a call to action, we can all start living these words now, each day, in each moment.

Dayana Patterson, one of the attendees of the Spiritual Renewal Retreat who has been a medium for many years, offered what she described as a merging with a collective of higher beings who call themselves Amag. In this merging, Amag, pointed out that we are essentially here as architects. We are presenting a “beingness” blueprint that we and others can build upon to create new structures for all of humanity. As architects of a new future, our focus is on the design, on what this new way of being may encompass. In so doing, we honor the design of the structure of the divine in service to all on this planet and beyond.

Our Infancy 

Amag told us that the divine design we are currently exploring has been in gestation for a long time. We come together now in Awakenings infancy, and, as infants, have the opportunity to play with this design, to delight in reaching up, falling down, and pulling ourselves back up as we explore our possibilities. In this stage, we don’t have to be concerned with details as much as with what delights us, holding in mind the blueprint of how we want our planet to be for ourselves and the other forms of life here.

Amag identified surrender as a key component of the transformation we are undergoing. They reminded us that without surrendering to losing our balance, we cannot go anywhere. With each step we take, we surrender to falling, moving one leg forward, then falling onto it as we move step-by-step in the direction of our dreams. As Ayn Rand once said, “Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps, down new roads, armed with nothing but their own vision.

As we explore our opportunities and the words that are representative of the new way of being we are embracing, we can allow a new language to emerge, one where some of our limiting expressions can be removed or move into the background while new words emerge and other words that enhance our possibilities can move fully into the foreground. One participant at the gathering suggested magify (making magical) as a new word. We can magify our reality as we open our minds and hearts to new possibilities and ways of being. Awakenings is a community where all are seen and honored for being who they are, where we can enjoy being together, where love can take us to new heights.

We have created a special “resonance” page on Awakenings’ website with the words that we are collectively embracing. You can also see a list of thse words to the left. We can choose to focus on these words and related states in the creation of a resonance that can radiate out around the world to all who are ready to embrace it. It is out intention that this page can portray the resonance of love, joy, excitement, and more that we are collectively emanating.

AWAKENINGS' WORLDWIDE MASTER SPIRIT COMMUNITY 

Anyone can be a part of the dream. Awakenings is developing its worldwide spiritual community as a physical and cyber place where anyone can join us in playing with the design of our reality.

Through the collective spirit of Awakenings current participants, this community is emerging, as are the  opportunities that are available. 

Awakenings currently provides spiritual support, educational opportunities, and new possibilities of consciousness for those who want to be part of the dream. Links at the bottom of this newsletter can connect you with some of our current offerings.

The Master Spirit Community

The “Master Spirit Community” will soon be offering ways that likeminded people can become a part of Awakenings to realize their individual dreams and goals, as we collectively participate in bringing Awakenings’ dream for humanity into being. 

Anyone with internet access can participate in a variety of ways. We will update you with more information in the near future and hope to make this opportunity available worldwide by fall of 2007. In the words of Magic Johnson,
